Job description

Are you a skilled Software Developer with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics CRM, and .NET technologies? Our client seeks an experienced Software Developer to support the maintenance and enhancement of business-critical applications built on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents).

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, development, and maintenance in large-scale enterprise environments. This role involves ensuring application stability, optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements while following Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support business-critical Microsoft Power Platform based applications in production and non-production environments.
  • Build and test, production deployment, change request, and release management.
  • Test, implement and document application and database design specifications and changes.
  • Post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues.
  • Design walkthrough sessions with project team.
  • Manage and track all incident, problem and service requests and coordinate with other support teams.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
  • Qualifications

    Must haves :

  • Knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), application deployment, testing, and release management processes to contribute to the development, delivery, and ongoing support of applications.
  • Skill set requirements :

  • Extensive development experience of Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents, Dynamics CRM, Office 365, .NET, C# technologies.
  • Experience with application / database design, UML, and modeling tools.
  • Experience with Agile software development process with MS Azure DevOps and Visual Studio Tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Unit Testing tools in Visual Studio.
  • Extensive TSQL and MS SQL Server database experience.
  • Extensive experience with support and maintenance of Power Apps and Power Pages solutions.
  • Experience of conducting application assessment and defining application M&S transition readiness.
  • Experience with incident, problem, service request, release and change management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
  • Public sector experience would be an asset.
