Job Title: Software Engineer - Cloud & AI Systems
Location: Vancouver, Canada (Onsite)
Experience: 1-3 Years
Rates: $35 to $40 CAD PH
We are hiring for Software Engineer - Cloud & AI Systems position where the selected candidate will work on a client project focused on CI microservices, cloud platforms, and automation workflows. This on-site role is ideal for early-career developers looking to strengthen their system operations and development skills in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and support CI microservice systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to user support requests
- Apply security updates to servers and databases
- Improve existing system features and develop new capabilities
- Contribute to AI-related components such as MCP servers and AI agents
- Investigate and resolve bugs to maintain platform stability
- Work closely with engineering teams to support CI/CD processes
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 1 to 3 years of experience in software engineering or system operations
- Basic understanding of Linux environments
- Experience with scripting languages Python
- Working knowledge of Docker
- Understanding of databases and CI/CD concepts
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience working with microservices in production
- Exposure to automation workflows
- Basic understanding of AI components or AI agents
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring or logging tools
- Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or AWS Cloud Practitioner are a plus
