Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Structures Assembler Aero to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Brampton, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex aircraft structural components with precision and accuracy. You will work with advanced assembly techniques and materials to ensure all components meet strict aerospace quality standards. Your organized approach and commitment to excellence will be essential in delivering high-quality assemblies that meet or exceed customer specifications.

  • Assemble aircraft structural components including fuselage sections, wings, and control surfaces using blueprints and technical drawings
  • Perform precision fastening operations including riveting, bolting, and welding according to aerospace manufacturing standards
  • Interpret and follow detailed technical documentation, work instructions, and quality control procedures
  • Measure and verify component dimensions using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy
  • Inspect completed assemblies for defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to specifications
  • Maintain organized work areas and properly store materials, tools, and equipment
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues
  • Document work completion and report any discrepancies or concerns to supervisors
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and aerospace industry regulations throughout the assembly process
  • Operate and maintain assembly equipment and tools in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in aircraft structural assembly or similar aerospace manufacturing roles
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
  • Demonstrated expertise with precision measurement tools and quality control procedures
  • Strong knowledge of fastening techniques including riveting, bolting, and welding
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to precision and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain organized work practices
  • Experience with composite materials and assembly techniques (preferred)
  • Experience operating CNC or automated assembly equipment (preferred)
  • Knowledge of aerospace safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
