Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency heating and renewable energy systems, is seeking a 1-Year Accounts Payable Clerk in Waterloo. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper approvals and PO matching. After a 3-month training period, the position will follow a hybrid work model.

Salary of $48K to $50 depending on experience
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Clerk :
Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper approvals and PO matching
Maintain accurate vendor records and verify account details
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
Manage approval workflows and employee expense reimbursements
Reconcile vendor statements, corporate credit cards, and month-end accruals
Prepare payment proposals and initiate payments
Ensure accurate invoice coding and maintain data integrity
Support additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
2-3 years of recent accounts payable experience
Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles
High accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Strong communication and ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is a plus
