This role requires a professional with 3-5 years of experience in high-volume work environments and a deep understanding of various transportation modes, including Truckload (TL), Less-than-Truckload (LTL), Intermodal, Ocean, and International shipping. The ideal candidate will excel in carrier rate negotiation and possess exceptional customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Efficiently manage and coordinate high volumes of shipments.
- Oversee dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Handle transportation logistics for TL, LTL, Intermodal, Ocean, and International shipments.
- Negotiate competitive carrier rates to optimize cost savings.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Handling competing priorities
- Monitor shipment statuses, troubleshoot issues, and provide proactive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
