Drake International is recruiting on behalf of a highly reputed client in Ottawa. We are seeking an HR Generalist to join their team, supporting various HR functions across multiple locations.
What We Offer :
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000 / annum (based on experience)

What You'll Do :
- Support the recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Assist in onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Administer employee benefits programs and resolve inquiries.
- Support performance management processes and facilitate training programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct employee engagement initiatives and maintain workplace culture.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
- Undertake other HR-related duties and assignments as required.
What We're Looking For :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or a related role.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
