We are seeking a Bilingual Director of Service to join our team of dedicated change-makers supporting children, youth, and families through innovative, culturally responsive, and equity-focused practices. You’ll help shape critical services while working in a forward-thinking, mission-driven organization that values your voice and empowers your leadership. We offer a competitive annual salary of $121,864 to $158,267 , commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package , generous leave provisions (including four weeks of vacation after six months), pension plan , health, dental, life and disability insurance , and flexible work arrangements . Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Service is responsible for the strategic leadership, development, implementation, and evaluation of service delivery programs within the Society. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director contributes to the development and execution of the organization's strategic goals, ensuring that services to children, youth, and families are delivered effectively and in compliance with the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA), Ministry standards, and the Society's policies and procedures. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans. Represent the Society on local and provincial committees and workgroups to advance service delivery objectives. Service Delivery Oversight : Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of service programs. Ensure services are aligned with legislative requirements and best practices in child welfare. Monitor service levels and adjust plans to meet changing demands. Ensure financial accountability and manage budgets within the Services Department. Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to Service Managers and their teams.. Quality Assurance and Improvement : Implement quality assurance strategies to achieve service goals and objectives. Utilize data and feedback to inform continuous improvement initiatives. Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) : Champion and foster EDI initiatives, ensuring services are culturally responsive and inclusive. Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent. Minimum of 7 years of senior managerial experience in a child welfare organization. In-depth knowledge of the CYFSA, Ministry regulations, and child welfare best practices. Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with an understanding of the systemic oppressions faced by Indigenous, racialized, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
