Talis Group’s client is a leader in the private label food & beverage industry for more than 100 years, supplying to large chain and privately held retailers.

Our client is hiring a National Sales Manager in Canada to join their dynamic and growing sales team. Using your expertise in sales and relationship-building, you’ll drive new business opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships, and increase market share.

This position will be the sole Account Manager for Walmart Canada and drive new business opportunities within smaller retailers.

Successful candidate will be fluent in English and French. This is a fully REMOTE position, however you must live or be willing to relocate within commutable distance of Toronto, Canada.

Position has very little travel and offers amazing base salary range plus excellent bonuses and profit sharing with full benefit and relocation package.

Highlighted Duties :

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth and market share expansion.
  • Actively pursue new business leads to grow the customer base and develop new relationships in the private label industry.
  • Create and deliver tailored presentations and bids to prospective clients, positioning our products as solutions that meet their unique needs.
  • Manage all aspects of account operations, from pricing and promotional communications to ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop custom products and special projects for clients, ensuring quality and satisfaction.
  • Travel as necessary to trade shows, seminars, and customer meetings to foster and maintain key relationships.

Highlighted Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent
  • Proven sales expertise in private label food and beverage industry
  • Must have National account management experience with Walmart
  • Must be fluent in English and French
  • 10+ years of experience in in new business development and managing high-profile accounts.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP experience is a plus.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual who can work independently or as part of a team.
  • Collaborative and personable approach, with excellent business acumen and leadership skills.
