Insight Global is looking for a Director of Sales to join our client local to Vancouver, BC, on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in the marine industry and have proven leadership experience leading organizational sales initiatives.
This role will require approximately 50% travel to meet with clients in North America, and on occasion, globally. The key markets for our client are North America, Asia, and Europe, with plans of expansion into India.
The successful candidate should also have proven experience building sales teams from the ground up and have the ability to establish and oversee KPI metrics.
Ideally, their prior experience and network in the marine industry should provide the successful candidate to identify target leads.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
- 5+ years' experience working in the marine industry in a sales capacity
- Proven experience leading a sales team at a senior manager or director level
- Ability to execute strategic sales plans, hit sales targets and expand on current customer bases
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
