Position Job Title : Director of Marketing

Work Hours : 40 hours / week
Salary : $95,000-$115,000 annually
POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of the Director of Marketing is to oversee and ensure all the creative content for the Primacorp Group of Companies is high-quality and effective in conveying the various value propositions of the different brands.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Marketing will primarily be responsible for the following :
Content Creation : Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, digital ad copy, and social media content.
Ensure all content is aligned with the company's messaging and brand guidelines.
Digital Communication : Drive the company's digital communication efforts, including website content, email marketing, and social media channels.
Monitor and analyze digital metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives.
- Brand Strategy : Assist the Head of Marketing with brand strategy, and then ensure the approved strategies are implemented.
- Staff Management : Manage a team of content, marketing, and design professionals.
- Other duties : As assigned by management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in the Director of Marketing position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining, and demonstrating the following :
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree (or greater) in Business (Marketing) or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in Marketing.
- At least 5 years of experience in a management role.
Skills and Abilities :
- Proven ability to create high-quality marketing content.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proven self-starter and problem solver.
- Must be deadline driven and goal-oriented.
- A positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to act with tact, good judgment, and discretion.
- Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
- The ability to travel within Canada as required (up to 10% of time).
