Your knowledge in planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure will be instrumental in transforming water for the better.

As a Project Director, you lead practitioners assigned to the projects in your portfolio, empowering them to deliver outstanding service and quality.
You are a leader in your sector, developing and implementing multi-year strategies for sector growth. With a passion for successful project delivery, you are focused in growing our key strategic client accounts.

Responsibilities
- Champion and personify our values and culture.
- Provide the technical expertise and develop win strategies to secure key pursuits in the water and wastewater treatment sector.
- Act as sector expert, or subject matter expert resource for Clients, Project Leads, Project Specialists, and Designated Project Managers delivering services in the water and wastewater treatment sector.
- Collaborative with colleagues, other business leaders, and external partners with a strong orientation towards technical delivery.
- Manage multiple project teams to provide service delivery on complex projects and programs in alignment with client satisfaction, quality, and financial success criteria.
- Oversee, support, and coach the professional development of practitioners on your project teams.
- Build a strong national presence in the water and wastewater treatment sector, keeping abreast of trends and challenges relevant to the industry and to Colliers Project Leaders’ services.
- Secure, lead, and grow a book of business aligned with fee income targets.
- Act as Account Manager to grow key strategic accounts in your sector.
- Implement a culture of quality and application of Quality Management System standards on your projects in alignment with client expectations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Professional Practice Best Practices and Standards of Practice.
- Inspire a culture of delegation and empowerment through the implementation of our workforce composition model.
- Promote domain expertise nationally through thought leadership and conference speaking to establish Colliers as best in class.
Qualifications
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a practitioner including large multi-year projects and programs of work in the water and wastewater treatment sector, having developed a sector specialization recognized by the industry.
- Professional industry credentials relevant and specific to the sector are considered a strong asset.
- An established network of industry contacts and relationships in the water and wastewater treatment sector as well as involvement with applicable regional industry and trade associations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills including a proven ability to write winning proposals and win competitive interviews.
- The ability to project and maintain a positive outlook and demonstrate an energetic disposition.
- Willingness to travel as required across Canada.
