Job Summary : Duties :

Duties :

  • Review, process, and reconcile vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure proper coding of invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts.
  • Verify purchase orders, receipts, and vendor agreements to ensure accuracy before processing payments.
  • Prepare and process weekly / monthly payments
  • Maintain organized records of invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments or billing.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate files for audit purposes and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or related coursework in accounting or finance preferred.
  • 1 3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting support is a benefit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
