The AWS Security Operations Centre (SOC) Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated and passionate systems development engineer.
You will define, build and support the system design, architecture, and software for internal services that automate activities managed by the SOC.
You will get to use the full set of AWS technologies to build these services. The services that you build will be a force multiplier for protecting the AWS cloud for all customers.
This will help us preserve our customers' trust in us. AWS is a world leader in providing highly available and secure infrastructure in the cloud and it powers millions of customers around the globe.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations :
Toronto, ON, CAN
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
