Manufacturing Material Handler
Corrpro Canada is seeking a Manufacturing Material Handler to join our team.
Corrpro Canada, an Aegion company, is Canada's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure.
Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies.
Corrpro has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any type of cathodic protection system for any type of structure.
Primarily working in the coke plant where packaging coke materials
Manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of various Corrosion Protection products
General warehouse duties including maintaining the condition of the warehouse
Picking, shipping & receiving duties as needed
Proactively follow all Health and Safety requirements
Perform general maintenance, repairs and inspections of specific tools and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation
Load and unload trucks as needed
Operate forklift as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
High school Diploma or equivalent education
2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Experience operating hand and power tools such as drills, saws and specialized equipment
Able and willing to wear a respirator as required
Able to regularly lift over 50 lbs
Forklift Operator certificate and experience helpful
Welding and soldering experience a strong asset
Able to listen, learn and complete duties efficiently and effectively
Able to interact and work effectively as a team
Possess a high level of attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to regularly stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shifts
