Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will provide on-going analytical, Big Data, Machine Learning, and ETL supports to meet the project needs.
- Design, develop, document, and implement the components required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
- Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data engineering needs.
- Create data tools for analytics and performance measurement as required.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
Qualifications
- Design cloud data solutions (architecture, infrastructure, ETL / ELT, storage, data model, consumption).
- Strong Python skills, including experience with large language models (GPT-4, etc.).
- Experience with unstructured data and cloud-native warehousing (Snowflake, Databricks).
- AI platform experience (MLFlow, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
- Strong data modeling (relational, dimensional, canonical) and supply chain DataMart / Datawarehouse experience.
- Support data architecture and database schemas (SQL, NoSQL) for scalable algorithms.
- Adopt best practices in data retention and security.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Experience with version control for databases and data analytics tools (PowerBI).
- Experience in Azure / AWS cloud; domain knowledge in retail is a plus.
