The Associate Vice President (AVP) of National Client Success Sales Enablement will advocate for the robust growth of our creditor insurance solutions and financial services within Canadian credit unions and specialty market channels.

By guiding strategic solutions throughout the end-to-end sales process, they will lead transformative process changes and develop impactful programs, initiatives, and training that enable profitable growth.

Additionally, leveraging their understanding of B2B2C distribution, the AVP, National Client Success Sales Enablement will guide and inspire their teams to deliver on negotiated client agreements and business plans, while also strategically fostering relationship building.

How you will create impact :

  • Cultivating a vibrant, sales-driven culture that places our clients at the heart of everything we do, drives profitable growth and achieves ambitious revenue goals.
  • Leveraging data-driven analytics to design impactful annual sales plans, optimize resource allocation, and diligently track performance to ensure success.
  • Supporting and guiding teams to build and maintain consultative relationships to best understand and support client needs, identify and develop new business opportunities, and ensure CUMIS is the strategic partner of choice.
  • Overseeing the development, delivery, and coaching of product and sales management training to credit union clients according to corporate program standards;

supporting and enabling the team to fulfill these responsibilities.

  • Collaborating closely with product leaders, for price, contract negotiations and renewals to create mutual success and strengthen partnerships with clients in the region.
  • Insuring teams are steadfast in maintaining a deep understanding of our credit union clients’ operations and competitive landscapes, enabling us to craft tailored solutions that benefit all parties involved.
  • Acting as a distribution lead on programs and projects. Leading improvement initiatives, embracing opportunities for change, and ensuring that our clients’ voices are heard in all our internal projects
  • Providing insightful research and input, contributing to the development of strategic plans and operational efficiencies, and consistently upholding corporate standards and policies.

Including actively participating in preparing and monitoring our unit budgets and reports.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with credit unions, other client partners, suppliers and strategic accounts.
  • Leading and engaging your team to deliver strategic objectives through effective coaching and mentoring, identifying and developing emerging talent, and fostering an innovative, collaborative, and agile culture.

To join our team :

  • You have 7-10 years of related experience, including multi years of experience in sales management.
  • You have a diploma or degree in Business or related discipline.
  • You hold or have a willingness to obtain a Life license and Other Than Life (OTL) license.
  • You are experienced with creditor insurance and / or the credit union market and / or transferable financial industry experience.
  • You have strong negotiation, interpersonal, leadership and coaching skills.
  • You have sales enablement experience. With direct experience in area such as sales training programs, sales analytics, and change management.
  • You are an experienced people leader, well-skilled in leading business development, client management and operational support teams that have successfully achieved high-level of client satisfaction while delivering revenue growth and achieving retention goals.

  • As a leader, strict confidentiality is required with respect to sensitive matters and employees’ personal information.
  • You will travel regularly.
  • You will be required to hold valid driver license and insurance.
  • Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required.
  • You will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.

Expected Salary Range : $135,000 - $225,000

  • The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to : local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
