We are currently looking for a Director Retail Services and Sales who will be responsible for building and executing a strategy to drive sales growth in the Canadian retail marketing industry .
The position is responsible for leading and building an exceptional sales team comprised of 10 people focused on driving profitable growth with key retail accounts.
The office is located in Vaughan and will be on a hybrid basis.

- Develop and execute multi-channel retail marketing strategies that supports all LOB
- Builds short and long-term sales forecast for budgeting and long-term growth projections.
- Leads negotiation and contract renewals with key and strategic customers.
- Monitors sales performance against targets and takes corrective steps in order to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Plans, controls and directs the activities of the sales team to obtain sales volume, growth and contribution targets.
- Develops sales teams through effective coaching, engagement, training and succession planning.
- Achieves and maintains strong team performance by managing against KPI’s and addressing gaps effectively.
- Oversees the development of detailed account plans for key targets and current customers. Provides input as needed to the sales team when obstacles or issues are encountered.
- Develops strong relationships at strategic customer accounts to facilitate win / win outcomes.
- Provides updates and reports to senior management, along with identified actions for improving or growing the business.
- Builds short and long-term sales forecast for budgeting and long-term growth projections.
When your expertise drives us.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; combination of education and experience may acceptable
- Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in retail marketing strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the retail marketing industry, knowledge of Sales Force, experience in retail marketing, management experience
- Strong skills in leading and developing a sales team
- Strong customer focus and drive for results
- Strong negotiation and influence skills
- Ability to set and articulate vision and purpose in a way that inspires the team to perform
