We are looking for a National Director of Social Media to join the MC&S team who will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy for PwC Canada.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic and experienced social media professional and will oversee the creation and distribution of engaging and relevant content across various platforms.
The National Director of Social Media will also monitor and analyze the performance and impact of our social media campaigns and provide insights and recommendations to optimize our brand awareness, reputation, and engagement

As National Director of Social Media , you’llwork as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Build a strategy that unlocks the business value of social media in marketing, communications, and the commercial side of professional services, with and know how to measure its value
Build a strategy to produce modern content, and oversee its creation & syndication on social media channels
Build social campaigns that are aligned with the buyer journey, fully integrated with all other marketing channels, so that our efforts are not siloed and are building synergy across various campaigns and channels.
Manage and work with the Social Media Team, Social Advertising, and Content Creators
Oversee and manage key programs, and lead partnerships with enterprise partners such as technology agencies and social media platforms
Responsible for overseeing the value and impact of campaigns and activities - capturing, analyzing, and developing recommendations based on multiple data sets.
Proactively seek new channels to market and innovate to engage with our audience in different ways.
Working with teams to develop timely, relevant, and engaging content for key audiences.
Bringing curiosity and challenge and capturing best practice so that experience, information, and knowledge are shared across the wider comms. and marketing teams.
Working closely with the other teams to access additional expertise and knowledge
Being a role model for sharing and collaboration, creating a positive team spirit across the MC&Scommunity
Research and identify the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in the social media landscape, and incorporate them into the social media strategy and content.
Monitor and measure the performance and effectiveness of social media campaigns, using various tools and metrics, such as impressions, reach, engagement, clicks, conversions, and sentiment.
Analyze and report on the social media data and insights and provide actionable recommendations to improve the social media strategy and tactics.
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
A commercial approach, understanding how social media activity translates to business outcomes.
Excellent communication, writing and facilitation skills are essential as is the ability to liaise, influence, challenge effectively and build relationships at senior management, peer, and team level.
Proven track record in content development and a sound understanding of multi-channel marketing techniques (ideally within professional services or related sectors).
Strong analytical ability, with experience of capturing, analyzing, and developing recommendations based upon complex ROI data sets.
The ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives, and to manage multiple projects.
Creative and innovative approach.
Ability to generate credibility and respect at senior levels.
Self-starter able to work effectively as part of a team.
A sound business understanding as well as being commercially and risk aware.
An eye for emerging trends and a curious mind.
