PROFILE
The successful candidate will professionally manage and develop client relationships with an established dealer base to sell passenger and light truck tires within the dynamic and growing Alberta and Saskatchewan markets .
Accurately managing all aspects of client accounts on a regular basis to resolve any issues or concerns, while meeting company sales and profitability objectives, is an important part of this position.
This position will enable the candidate to gain insight and enhance their knowledge of our consumer products and the consumer dealer base in this market and ensure the Boss receives the highest level of service in the industry.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with dealers and the consumer team to :
- Prepare, present, and communicate sales and marketing programs and specific customized specials to clients.
- Administer, and process documentation and claims on behalf of customers.
- Plan and execute customer promotional events throughout the year.
- Source tires, back order management and assist in finding substitutions on behalf of customers.
- Conduct both formal and informal group-training sessions as required at a client’s place of business.
- Prepare sales reports, business plans and pricing proposals for management.
- Responsible for achieving growth from the assigned Territory Unit / $ Sales budget.
- Act as a liaison between client and various departments within BSCA and BATO in order to resolve customer issues,
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma or University degree from an accredited institution (preferably business / marketing)
- Tire industry experience
- Minimum 2 years, sales or other related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional planning and organization skills required to deal with a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize in order to implement and execute required programs.
- Superior interpersonal communication skills required to interact with clients daily, through telephone, email, personal visits and training sessions.
- Flexibility to travel frequently over weeknights and weekends to visit assigned accounts, attend special Dealer events and required Sales meetings
- Ability to work unsupervised and travel freely within the territory and to / within the United States a must
