Our Canadian based operation was launched in 2021 and has grown significantly. The market is ripe for a solution such as LEAP, and while competitors are also on the uprising, LEAP has the most comprehensive solution and offers the most benefits over other available solutions.

We are seeking to capitalize on this opportunity and grow fast to establish ourselves as the market leader, while achieving tremendous growth.

For this reason, we are seeking ambitious, talented, and driven sales leaders to join our team as our sales team is growing and scaling.

This person would be responsible for a team of 4-8 SaaS sales professionals and looking over geographical assigned territories.

We are only as good as the people we hire, and it all begins with selecting the right leaders. We are looking for someone that can wear multiple hats, self-driven, a passion for leading and coaching people, and overachieving goals.

THE ROLE

This role works closely with VP of Sales to identify new approaches to increase productivity within our New Business Sales team in Eastern Canada.

People management experience is key here, as the role holds overall responsibility for the team of sales professionals and is ultimately responsible training, mentoring and guiding a high velocity team of sales reps.

We are in high growth mode so you will be introduced to LEAP speed as you lead your team to acquiring market share.

The primary focus of this position is to drive profitable sales of the full breadth of LEAP software and service offerings in a designated region through a focused, industry vertical-based, targeted selling approach and to effectively lead the Sales Team in their efforts to drive successful sales engagements and exemplary Client relationship management.

This role will be hybrid model with 3 days in the office once our new Toronto office is established.

Responsibilities and Duties (including but not limited to)

  • Develop a deep understanding of the legal tech market and how our innovative software disrupts it.
  • Recruiting and leading Business Development Professionals to achieve sales goals
  • Ensure and keep a strong employee morale on your team, and maintain strong teamwork within sales organization
  • Ensure proper policies and processes are followed within team
  • Devise effective territory and marketing strategies, and collaborate with leadership as needed
  • Maintain proper and accurate forecasting
  • Coach, lead, and develop the team to ensure everyone meets their full potential
  • Develop a deep understanding of your pipeline, and assist / coach on individual opportunities to ensure maximum success and closing rates
  • Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) as needed
  • Assist in sales calls and onsite visits as needed

Requirements

Skills Required

  • Demonstrated success in consultative inside / SaaS sales.
  • Proven experience as a Territory Manager
  • Proven track record of meeting / exceeding goals
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Sound negotiation and consultative sales skills
  • Customer-focused view and a common sense approach to business
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience as a sales leader (minimum 3 years, references strongly preferred)
