The candidate(s) will be :
Responsible for the management, coordination and completion of complex program development and IT projects (agile, waterfall & hybrid), and overseeing all aspects of projects.
Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
Prepares reports for management regarding status of project.
The candidate is responsible for all program development and information and technology (IT) initiatives that are delivered across complex program areas.
Responsibilities include the development of program management strategy / plans, budget / forecast, managing deadlines and dependencies across initiatives, resourcing, and coordination of project team activities within the program.
Management of a portfolio of projects that will document business requirements, design and deliver IT solutions that are compliant with and contribute to the Ministries enterprise architecture.
- Draft and compile project charters and business / project plans / project reporting to support activities, including the most suitable approach to be used in the development of each applicable project, to ensure business objectives and data integrity are achieved.
- Manage project(s) that will document business requirements, design and deliver IT solutions that are compliant with and contribute to the Ministries’ enterprise architecture, utilizing agile, waterfall and hybrid approaches.
- Assist with the development and drafting of recommendations including providing details of resource requirements, dependencies, interdependencies, policy and program implications pertaining to internal / external influences and the methodology to be applied.
