We have an exciting role with a long-standing company based in Concord. Our client is seeking a contract Accounting Associate to join their organization within the week for a 12 month contract with possibility of extension.
The Accounting Associate will report directly to the Director of Finance and will be part of the overall finance department.
A successful candidate for this role will be be someone who is analytical, well organized and results oriented. This individual needs to have a great attitude, strong communication skills and be able to handle fast-paced work when required.

Responsibilities
Responsible for Accounts Payable and all invoicing in compliance with company policies
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision
Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial
close workbook preparation
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in accounting.
Intermediate to advanced level skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and Power Point
2 years of experience with SAP would be considered a strong asset
