The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects ofhighway and roadway projects from planning and design throughconstruction and completion.
They will lead project teamscoordinate with clients and stakeholders and ensure successfulproject delivery while adhering to safety quality and regulatorystandards.
Requirements
KeyResponsibilities :
Leadand manage highway and roadway projects from initiation to closeoutensuring adherence to project specifications schedules andbudgets.
Coordinatewith clients stakeholders regulatory agencies and subcontractors todefine project requirements scope andobjectives.
Developproject plans schedules and budgets and monitor progress to ensuretimely and costeffective projectexecution.
Prepareand review engineering designs specifications and drawings forhighway and roadway projects ensuring compliance with regulatoryrequirements and industrystandards.
Manageproject resources including personnel equipment and materials tooptimize productivity andefficiency.
Conductregular site visits and inspections to monitor constructionprogress quality and safetycompliance.
Identifyand mitigate project risks and issues and implement effectivesolutions to ensure projectsuccess.
Prepareand present project status reports progress updates and budgetanalyses to clients stakeholders andmanagement.
Fostera culture of safety quality and excellence within the project teamensuring compliance with all relevant regulations andstandards.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering CET orP.Eng
Minimumof 7 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus onhighway and roadwayprojects.
Proventrack record of successfully managing highway and roadway projectsfrom inception tocompletion.
Strongtechnical knowledge of highway and roadway design standardsspecifications andregulations.
Excellentproject management skills including the ability to develop projectplans schedules and budgets and manage project resourceseffectively.
Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability toeffectively liaise with clients stakeholders subcontractors andteammembers.
Proficiencyin project management software and tools such as Primavera P6 orMicrosoftProject.
Commitmentto safety quality and excellence in all aspects of projectdelivery.
