As an Assurance director youwill be responsible for managing and overseeing audit certificationcompilation and review engagements for our clients ensuring thatthese engagements are conducted efficiently and in accordance withprofessional standards.
You will play a key role in developing ourcertification team and maintaining strong client relationships.This dynamic role fosters skill development and professionaladvancement within a company that values integrity innovation unityand humility.
Responsibilities :
- Plandirect and coordinate audit engagements certification engagementsas well as compilation and reviewservices.
- Oversee the certification team and ensure theprofessional development of teammembers.
- Ensure compliance with professionalstandards.
- Assess risks related to engagements and developappropriate plans.
- Provide recommendations to clients to improve theirinternal control systems.
- Maintain strong client relationships andidentify business developmentopportunities.
- Contribute to the development of recommendations andpresentations for clientengagements.
- Analyze engagement costs and explain budgetvariances.
- Write and deliver performance evaluations in a timelymanner.
Requirements
- A Masters degree in Accounting Finance or arelated field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificationrequired.
- At least 7 to 10 years of experience in certificationpreferably in an accountingfirm.
- Experience in team management and overseeing complexaudit engagements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.
- Indepth knowledge of Canadian accounting and auditingstandards.
- Ability to work independently and make informeddecisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously andmeet deadlines.
- Proficiency in both French and English spoken andwritten.
- Proficiency in Casewaresoftware.
