We are looking for a dedicated, motivated, and eager Senior Project Manager responsible for the administrative and technical management of assigned construction projects.
These duties include expediting activities related to procurement, contract administration, change orders, submittals, schedule, safety, and quality control.
This position is located at the London Office with moderate travel to the Corporate Head Office in Waterloo office.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for managing the construction process, inclusive of defining project scope and identifying a critical path, defining key milestones, and leading the timing of each construction stage
- Prioritize, plan, and coordinate potential risks and technical challenges
- Determine resources required to ensure all aspects of the project are managed appropriately.
- Lead the design and coordination meetings
- Liaise with partners, consultants, construction management team, building trades, building department and municipal staff
- Responsible for financial monitoring of the project.
- Inclusive of forecasting, keeping the team informed of schedule progress, design changes and potential construction over runs
- Coordinate all aspects of development and permit applications, drawings, and documents prior to permit submission
- Manage consultant working drawing groups and meetings
- Conduct project reviews and create / generate reporting as required
Qualifications :
- Project Management training / Related College Diploma.
- Previous 3-5 years Ontario experience in project management role with project values 2MM and above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Bluebeam software.
- Highly organized and ability to multitask.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Enthusiastic and team oriented with the ability to work independently as well
