What is the Opportunity?
In this role, you will support the execution of the strategy and roadmap for a range of financial planning digital products in Wealth Management Canada.
You’ll become the subject matter expert of the product(s) and will be accountable for driving the day-to-day product lifecycle from design to release by leading the team to articulate clear requirements that will be used to bring the vision to life.
You’ll define and monitor key success metrics, go-to-market tactics to drive adoption, and ensure we’re always providing RBC clients with a superior client experience.
In addition, you’ll be collaborating with business and functional teams, leaders, and dedicated user experience design and engineering teams.
What will you do?
- Build and implement product strategies, requirements and roadmaps consistent with company vision
- Outline key drivers, customer use cases, and full user flow impact across all platforms.
- Become the subject matter expert for the digital product(s) and drive the execution of the roadmap into features and product delivery.
Work closely with the business, tech, and design teams day-to-day.
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products
- Continuously update the roadmap based on changing priorities and user feedback.
- Effectively communicate and socialize the product opportunities and features, taking into consideration different stakeholders at all levels.
What do you need to succeed?
Must haves :
- Minimum 5 years wealth management experience, preferably within a WM line of business.
- Minimum 5 years financial planning experience required.
- Minimum 3 year program / project management experience preferred.
- Skilled in developing and articulating product strategy and requirements in a clear and concise manner, enabling the engineering team to deliver maximum productivity and value.
- Experience in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucid charts
- Proven collaboration and change management skills.
- Post-secondary education (University or College) or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Experience managing internal and external partners that contribute to the delivery of consumption.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Experience with Conquest Financial Planning software
Nice-to-have :
- Financial planning experience and / or CFP / PFP or IQPF certified
- In depth understanding and knowledge of Federal and Provincial taxation and pension legislation.
- French language skills (speaking, reading and writing)
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
