Job Description
What is the opportunity? As the Insurance Service Desk Advisor (ISDA) your primary focus would be to review all Life and Living Benefit insurance files for risk and compliance held by RBC Financial Wealth Management Services Inc.
In addition you will liaise and work with Investment Advisors / Regional Sales Network in order to facilitate an easy transition for clients from one platform to another. What will you do?
ISDA creates a report with all the active policies listed under the departed insurance sales person, either as primary or servicing advisor.
Scan any documents onto centralized data base that is not already scanned.
The ISDA will review the insurance policy to ensure sure all is in good order, such as client’s address is correct and current, ownership and beneficiary of the policy has not changed.
Policies such as WL and UL’s require inforce illustrations to ensure the policy is on side and with what was provided at time of sale.
If a change has occurred the centralized data base requires the supporting documents.
Should the insurance policy indicate any future sales opportunity the ISDA can approach the regional sales network should it be agreed the policy can then be re-assigned.
