Delivery Manager

Location : Toronto, ON - hybrid - 1 - 3 days / per week in the office ( no specific days)

Contract Length : 7 Months with Possibility of extension.

Typical Day in Role :

  • Develop creative approaches to problem resolution, with a focus on overall business solutions rather than specific packages or technologies.
  • Identify and confirm project leads from all required stakeholders to ensure responsibilities and deliveries are understood
  • define project governance, identify senior stakeholders and sponsors to form a steering committee if necessary, and work with the Project Sponsor to prepare appropriate information for dissemination.
  • Work with the Project Sponsor to establish and manage the project scope, ensuring Project Change Notifications are raised and approved as necessary.
  • Hold meetings and work sessions to ensure project management deliverables are met, provide support to clients, motivate the project team, and maintain project momentum against changing priorities
  • Expert facilitation and interviewing skills are required to produce objective Benefit Maps.
  • Balance competing goals of various workstreams, requiring a mature, diplomatic approach and strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Candidate Requirements / Must-Have skills :

  • 8-10 years of experience in project management tools (Microsoft Office 365, Confluence and Jira) and Agile methodologies.
  • 8-10 years of experience in banking and financial services
  • 3-5 years of emerging technologies such as GCP and / or Azure
  • 3-5 years of experience in product development methodologies (Banking products, analytics models, or any other) and good understanding of technical architecture.
  • Knowledge of banking, data processing, planning techniques, budget management, organizational management, , the Bank's Systems Development Methodology, and security awareness principles are necessary.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

Nice-To-Have Skills :

  • A PMP designation is an asset.
  • Scrum Master Certification is an asset

Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
