Job Description
- Attend the survey request assigned to them (field and office).
- Be responsible for preparing the fieldwork data before and after completing the task.
- Be responsible for doing a quality check of the data provided and its fit within the executed works.
- Prepare survey reports adequately for as-built drawing creation.
- Propose measures to help improve the survey section.
- Support the surveyors and survey assistants mentoring and helping them to improve.
- Properly handle the company's material under their responsibility.
- Assist and carry out the necessary work to implement, measure, and maintain the Survey Network.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in land surveying.
- Experience in management and leading survey teams is an asset.
- Have a deep understanding of civil works construction and methods.
- Highly skilled in personal communication, relationships with other departments, and different levels of site management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office environment.
- Knowledge of Design software such as Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of Point Cloud software.
- Be highly skilled in using varied survey equipment such as Laser Scans, Total Stations, GNSS receivers, and Digital Levels.
- Professional designation such as Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) is preferred.
