Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage electronic data and document discovery process for e-discovery process and trial;
- Manage / oversee eDiscovery projects with external vendors and internal / external document review teams;
- Prepare correspondence and litigation documents (i.e. : affidavits of documents, witness briefs, mediation and pre-trial briefs, hold memos / document preservation notices, motion materials, etc.);
- Assist with examinations for discovery;
- Review and summarize transcripts and prepare discovery summaries;
- Manage document review teams internally and externally;
- Manage undertaking an refusals;
- Arrange and participate in meetings with clients and experts;
- Maintain audit and chain of custody logs;
- Prepare bills of costs and costs outlines;
- Prepare writ filings and enforce judgments; and
- Assist with trial preparation including preparing trial protocols and attend at trial.
Requirements :
- 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Law Clerk;
- In-depth knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure, E-Discovery process;
- Proficiency with MS Office, or any other industry standard litigation software;
- Must have Relativity experience
- Motivated, professional, team player attitude with strong client-service drive.
