Women's College Hospital (WCH) is an academic, ambulatory care hospital in Ontario with a focus on health for women, health equity and health system solutions. If you're ready to be part of a team that is revolutionizing the future of healthcare, then you will want to join an institution where the possibilities for innovation, new discovery and system thinking are limitless. Women's College Hospital is committed to equity, quality and patient safety as key professional values and essential components of daily practice.
Healthcare Revolutionized 2030 is our roadmap to the future. Our strategy is built on the pledge that the founders of our hospital made 140 years ago and reaffirms our commitment to providing equitable, accessible, best-in-class healthcare for everyone – meeting people where they are on their healthcare journey and partnering with them to reach their goals of living their healthiest lives possible. The stage has been set for Women’s to accelerate our priorities and capture the momentum to catapult our system forward to revolutionize healthcare for everyone.
Applicants must reside and be legally eligible to work in Ontario.
This is a Temporary Full-Time Role

Cervical cancer, primarily caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), is largely preventable. Despite global and national strategies to eliminate cervical cancer, Canada faces an annual increase in cases, mostly among those who are under-screened. Social inequalities often make it difficult for certain groups to access cervical cancer screening programs. Factors like a person's income, racial or ethnic background, where they live, their age, level of education, cultural practices, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity and any disabilities they may have can create obstacles within the healthcare system. These barriers prevent equitable access to and participation in cervical screening. In this patient-partnered, person-centered research study, WCH Scientists, Dr. Ambreen Sayani and Dr. Aisha Lofters are mobilizing knowledge to remove barriers and improve access to cervical screening for all people with a cervix experiencing marginalization, thus contributing to the broader goal of eliminating cervical cancer in Canada by 2040.
Specifically, the project objectives are to :
- Co-create and user-test public-facing outreach materials on cervical screening (including self-sampling).
- Co-create and user-test provider-facing resources to promote gender-sensitive, trauma-informed, non-stigmatizing screening conversations.
- Co-develop and disseminate a systems-facing framework to guide best practices in equity-oriented cervical screening within organized screening programs in Canada.
The project team is seeking an experienced Research Coordinator III to support successful achievement of project objectives.
Summary of Duties but Not Limited To :
As a role model and champion, you will work to identify and integrate safe, best practices into daily activities to foster the delivery of safe and exemplary care.
The responsibilities described above are representative and are not to be construed as all-inclusive.
