We are entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual idea and strategies. We are looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Audit Manager for our Brampton, ON office.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of audit engagements from planning to completion. Collaborate with engagement teams to ensure efficient and effective audit execution.
  • Analyze financial statements to assess their accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles. Identify and address potential errors, misstatements, or irregularities.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments & develop comprehensive audit plans that address key risk areas and comply with auditing guidelines.
  • Documents audit findings and test results, exercising judgment to analyze results in preparing working papers which record and summarize audit data and adequately support audit findings and conclusions.
  • Communicates audit results and provides specialized business advice to Business Unit Management such as policy and process recommendations and best practices;

on occasion may escalate audit concerns to Internal Audit Management to ensure high risk issues are resolved.

  • Examine financial documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles.
  • Work with audit team to create a disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Requirements

  • University degree in business or other relevant fields.
  • 5-7 years' experience in an audit or accounting / finance role.
  • Holding an experience in dealing with external and internal audits is an asset. Few years of Big 4 background would be preferred.
  • Financial industry experience would be considered a strong asset.
  • Public accounting firm experience would be considered a strong asset.
  • Financial reporting, internal controls, or audit experience considered an asset.
  • Ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners.
