Our client, located in Mississauga, is currently seeking an experienced and professional National Credit Manager to join their team. This position will play a key role in maintaining the company's financial health and operations. Ideal candidates should have excellent organizational abilities, strategic planning skills, and outstanding communication skills.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee nationwide credit management and operations.
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
- Analyze customer's creditworthiness and establish credit limits.
- Handle and resolve credit issues and disputes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to optimize profitability.
- Prepare and present credit reports and metrics to the senior management team.
- Comply with all relevant legislation, standards, and regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Credit Manager or similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial software.
- Sound decision-making abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of credit-related laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) designation is an advantage.
