WORLDPAC, a subsidiary of Advance Auto Parts, imports and distributes original equipment and quality replacement automotive parts to select specialty import and domestic service centers.

Summary of Job Description :
Daily aging report monitoring and follow through on collection to assure that delinquent accounts are worked based on priority and in a timely manner and properly notatedDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with all customers within assigned A / R portfolioReconciliation of past due balances, with clear and concise communication to our customers, sales staff, and management to resolve disputed balancesWorks with internal and external customer to clear open accounts receivable balancesMakes recommendations for setting up customer payment plans, placing customer accounts on hold and accounts to be placed with 3rd party collections and bad debtPerforms other collection related duties as required by managementAbility to organize and interpret data as well as communicating analytic results / recommendationsAble to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to completion with sound business judgmentCredit hold review and order releases per company policy guidelinesSpecial projects as assignedSuccessful Candidate must :
2+ years’ experience in a credit and collections or customer facing roleEffective collections, issue resolution and negotiation skillsCollaborative attitude, as well as strong analytical and investigative skillsUnderstanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping proceduresExcellent verbal and written communicationWorking knowledge of AS400 systemExcellent customer service skillsExposure to AS400 accounts receivable systems, a plusProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and various business software systems as neededAbility to adapt to changing environmentsWORLDPAC endeavors to make its recruitment process accessible to any and all users.
