Our client is a distinguished premier boutique law firm in Toronto. They are currently seeking a Corporate Law Clerk to join their team and support one partner.
Your new role
As a Law Clerk, you will play a crucial role within the law firm. Your tasks will involve preparing legal documents, conducting research, managing case files, and providing essential administrative support.
Working closely with the lawyers, you will demonstrate your ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have :
- Law Clerk Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of Canadian corporate law clerk experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with corporate databases and document management systems (experience with Diligent corporate database or iManage is a plus)
What you'll get in return
In addition to two remote working days, salary ranges from $70,000-75,000 (dependent on experience), vacation of 3-4 weeks, excellent benefits including health and wellness, RRSP match up to 5% and fitness reimbursement plan!
