Your new roleAs a Law Clerk, you will play a crucial role within the law firm. Your tasks will involve preparing legal documents, conducting research, managing case files, and providing essential administrative support.
Working closely with the lawyers, you will demonstrate your ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What you'll need to succeedTo excel in this role, you should have : Law Clerk DiplomaMinimum of 3 years of Canadian corporate law clerk experienceExceptional attention to detailStrong organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communicationProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointAbility to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environmentExperience with corporate databases and document management systems (experience with Diligent corporate database or iManage is a plus)What you'll get in returnIn addition to two remote working days, salary ranges from $70,000-75,000 (dependent on experience), vacation of 3-4 weeks, excellent benefits including health and wellness, RRSP match up to 5% and fitness reimbursement plan! You’ll also have the opportunity to work on high-profile cases, expand your legal expertise, and engage in continuous learning.
