The Opportunity

If you have experience in claims processing and customer service and are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Claims Call Centre Senior Representative in our Toronto or Montreal office to process routine and complex first reports of loss and handle specialized projects on cutting-edge initiatives.

Reporting to the Team Manager, you will interact closely with internal and external business partners to provide timely and high-quality service. This is a unique opportunity to build your knowledge and experience for the future in a supportive environment where your voice matters.

This is a hybrid work opportunity.

What you will do

Handle complex technical duties and specialized / pilot projects for commercial lines of business.
Manage intake of claims involving Centers of Expertise lawsuits.
Monitor and manage resources / cash within defined procedures.
Interact closely with internal business partners, including Underwriters, Account Managers, and specialized claims personnel in a professional and positive manner.
Collaborate with external business partners, including Agents / Brokers, in a professional and productive manner.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory controls relevant to standard work practices within the region.
Meet established departmental quality, phone availability, and productivity objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Manager or other members of the Management team.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Participate in business travel and mandatory overtime during peak periods, shift work, and holiday work as required.

Job Qualifications - What You Bring To The Table

Required :

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in Customer Service

Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree with no prior experience required in Customer Service

Intermediate customer service experience required

Preferred :

Fluent proficiency in both English and French

Intermediate contact center experience

Insurance knowledge

Fluency in both spoken and written English is required to facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec.
