Position : Quality Specialist

Location : Etobicoke, ON

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000 per year

Industry : Manufacturing / Labels / Quality Control / Printing

Employment Term : Full Time / Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough inspection of components and finished products to ensure they meet the quality standards and inspection requirements
  • Perform various tests and measurements using precision instruments and equipments
  • Document and report any deviations from quality standards and work with the production teams to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and results
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Address quality related issues and implement corrective actions
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Post secondary education or equivalent in a related field
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in a quality control or similar role is preferred
  • Previous experience in the label, printing, or flexible packaging industry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations
  • Effective communication skills – both written and verbal
