HealthOPM is seeking Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) / Instructor Therapist to join our team for assignments across Ontario.

We provide high-quality, evidence-based interventions that promote the growth and development of our clients.

Location : Various sites available across ON

Specifically; Oshawa, Markham, Richmond Hill, Barrie, Concord and Etobicoke.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) / Instructor Therapist to join our team. The RBT / Instructor Therapist will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized ABA programs designed to meet the unique needs of each client.

This position requires a commitment to helping individuals with ASD reach their full potential through structured and engaging therapy sessions.

Responsibilities :

  • Implement individualized ABA programs as outlined by the BCBA
  • Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients using ABA techniques and principles
  • Collect data on client progress and behaviour during therapy sessions
  • Assist in the development of behaviour intervention plans (BIPs) as needed
  • Collaborate with other members of the therapy team, including BCBA supervisors, speech therapists, and occupational therapists
  • Provide feedback and support to families / caregivers on implementing ABA techniques in the home or community setting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and relevant regulatory bodies

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) issued by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes or community locations as needed
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
