PositionOverview :
We are seeking a dedicated andqualified Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) / InstructorTherapist to join our team. The RBT / Instructor Therapist willwork under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst(BCBA) to implement individualized ABA programs designed to meetthe unique needs of each client.
This position requires acommitment to helping individuals with ASD reach their fullpotential through structured and engaging therapysessions.
Responsibilities :
Implement individualized ABA programs as outlined by theBCBA
Conduct oneonone therapy sessions with clients usingABA techniques and principles
Collect data on clientprogress and behaviour during therapy sessions
Assist inthe development of behaviour intervention plans (BIPs) asneeded
Collaborate with other members of the therapy teamincluding BCBA supervisors speech therapists and occupationaltherapists
Provide feedback and support tofamilies / caregivers on implementing ABA techniques in the home orcommunity setting
Maintain accurate and uptodate clientrecords and documentation
Participate in ongoing trainingand professional development opportunities
Adhere toethical and professional standards set forth by the BehaviourAnalyst Certification Board (BACB) and relevant regulatorybodies
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in psychology special education or a relatedfield
Current certification as a Registered BehaviourTechnician (RBT) issued by the Behaviour Analyst CertificationBoard (BACB)
Previous experience working with individualswith autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Abilityto work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homesor community locations as needed
Ability to pass acriminal backgroundcheck
