As a Project Coordinator, Commercial Mechanical , you will :
- Support Project Managers and Site Supervisors to develop and actively maintain the project schedule and ensure project targets are achieved.
- Maintain and update document control logs and follow through on project management procedures : change orders, as-built drawings, close out documents.
- Provide status updates of work in progress and support with project forecasting, cost control and Plan Group's T.I.M.E. efficiency program.
- Coordinate equipment and material deliveries and provide oversight of sub-trades.
- Participate in site meetings and document meeting minutes.
- Maintain records of all materials used and the progress made on the job in line with company guidelines.
- Proactively identify and bring to management's attention potential problems and / or schedule delays.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- You have related Mechanical Engineering post-secondary education.
- You have a minimum of one (1) year of related experience; trade experience is a definite asset.
- You have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the commercial construction industry.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project; experience with scheduling software such as Primavera an asset.
- You have experience analyzing and understanding mechanical construction drawings and experience working on commercial projects.
