This role is responsible for supporting the Quality Management team in the implementation and improvement of the Project Quality Management System.
The QMS Administrator reports to the Quality Director and is responsible for the following activities :
- Assist in developing QMS documentation such as quality manual, plans, procedures, forms, etc.
- Develop and maintain tracking logs for different processes such as Submittals, NCRs, ITPs, Deficiencies, audits, etc.
- Prepare regular quality reports (weekly, monthly, annually, etc.) as needed.
- Develop trends and maintain multiple Key Performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the QMS performance such as performance of the Non-Conformances, Inspection & Test Plans, and other processes.
- Assist in the resolution of Non-Conformances (NCRs).
- Coordinate the Project’s audit program plans.
- Ensure that all Quality Records associated with the implementation of the Quality Management System are kept organized, sorted, accessible and retrievable.
- Coordinate Archive / Records Retention System.
- Assist in the project’s handover process.
- Track and monitor all the deliverables from the Third-Party testing agencies.
- Attend quality meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Conduct internal audits / reviews to investigate the cause of key issues or to investigate possible QMS failures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Proven experience with minimum 3-5 years in the administration and maintenance of the QMS within the construction industry.
- Post-secondary education in construction, engineering or technician and quality control and assurance experience or an equivalent combination of experience and technical training.
- ISO 9001 : 2015 Lead Auditor certification with experience in conducting audits is a considerable asset.
- Excellent computer skills, working with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, databases, and web-based solutions.
