To complete its Revenue Management department team, Intelcom is looking for a Team Manager. Reporting to the Revenue Management Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for bringing his expertise in understanding commercial and logistical issues that have financial impacts on the company's profitability.

He will be required to work closely with various internal partners to coordinate information.

The Revenue Management Manager is responsible for supporting business development by understanding our market positioning and pricing strategy.

He is responsible for following up with management on financial performance and KPIs that impact delivery margins. He plays a crucial role in optimizing the performance of our services to maximize revenue and profitability, all while ensuring smooth communication of issues.

The position holder must be passionate about teamwork, sound information management, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Work with all levels of staff and management on revenue performance : monitor the financial health of customer accounts, service performance KPIs and trends (volumes, contribution$, service coverage, etc.

to meet strategic goals and develop all guidelines, policies and procedures through use of data analysis

Responsible for market intelligence in terms of pricing for different service offerings by competitors. Identify trends and opportunities through research and analysis.

Plan and execute different research methods such as data collection, analysis and integration of data from multiple sources

  • Generate and analyze a variety of reports to help stakeholders understand business drivers and changes in the markets which impact Intelcom customers and volumes
  • Accountable for tracking and reporting on key financial metrics related to market pricing strategies to help achieve optimal profitability.

Monitor opportunities and propose adjustments to sales prices / pricing strategy that maximise profits and acceptable revenues

  • Price new products in collaboration with all stakeholders (product, marketing, operations, IT, costing)
  • Manage customer profitability analysis. Work collaboratively with Operations and Finance to gather required information and build profitability analysis.

Prepare internal financial reports on margin profitability by customer / service / region.

  • Explain variations in sales month-on-month, year-on-year in terms of volume and revenue
  • Participate in the development of analytical and decision support tools
  • Act as a mentor or trainer to revenue management analysts

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years' experience in revenue management / commercial finance
  • Finance, Accounting, Administration studies
  • Background accounting (costing, FP&A, financial statements) to support discussions with the Finance department
  • Team management with the ability to think and act progressively, while motivating team members to do the same
  • Comfortable with databases and advanced analytical tools
  • Confidence in delivering analysis and information to senior management
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
  • Impeccable communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels within the organization
  • Solid problem-solving capabilities with the ability to think objectively in decision making and judgement
  • A consultative approach to work within diverse teams comprised of colleagues from multi-disciplinary backgrounds
  • Previous experience effectively mentoring, and growing other emerging leaders
