Spectrum Health Care is looking for Part Time / Casual Physiotherapy Assistants (OTA / PTA) to work in facility settings in Toronto.

Job Description

• Work with the Physiotherapist and other members of the multidisciplinary team, develops, implements and evaluates individual programs
• Provides therapy sessions as instructed including balancing and strengthening exercises for seniors
• Attends patient related meetings to report on assessment findings and discusses plans for interventions
• Implements treatment plans based on assessment, patient input and in conjunction with the patient’s integrated care plan
• Maintains accurate and complete clinical records

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in the Physiotherapy Assistant Program from a recognized community college program or school registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities or equivalent in training and experience
• 1+ year of experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
