Medical ClaimsAssistant Remote

Weare looking for two qualified individuals for our client in theinsurance industry to work remotely as Medical Claims Assistants.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience inthe disability and insurance department particularly with shorttermdisability (STD) claims.

In this position you will be responsiblefor highvolume data entry on noncomplex STD claims ensuringaccuracy timeliness and building strong service relationships withstakeholders.

Whatis in it foryou :

Hourly salary of $22 to $24 based onexperience.

12monthcontract.

Fully remote fulltimeposition (37.5 hours per week).

Flexible work hours : 7 am to 3 pm 8 am to 4 pm 9 am to 5 pm or 10am to 6pm.

Responsibilities :

Review and assess incoming STD claim applications againstestablished criteria

Identify andfollow up on outstanding information to ensure accurate claimassessment

Apply contractualprovisions and set up STD claims using webbasedsoftware

Build and maintainstrong relationships with plan members sponsors healthcareproviders and internal partners

Prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines constantly reprioritizingbased on business needs

Ensure ahigh level of accuracy and attention to detail particularly withdata entry grammar and numbers

Maintain productive collaboration with internal teams to meetclient servicedeliverables

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

Strong organizational and time managementabilities

Intermediateproficiency with Microsoft Word andExcel

Experience in customerservice or data entry roles

Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationshipswith external and internalstakeholders

Great attention todetail and comfortable with repetitivetasks
