Role Overview :

Our Toronto office is currently recruiting for a Senior Solutions Analyst in our Information Technology Department, reporting to our Manager, Applications.

This role has a firm-wide responsibility for maintaining and providing expertise on the Microsoft 365 enterprise software, ensuring its optimal utilization and performance.

It involves designing and automating processes and building solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity across the Firm.

Additionally, the role includes offering third-level support to other IT team members, addressing complex issues and providing advanced technical assistance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Configuring and maintaining the Microsoft 365 Enterprise Applications stack (including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform).
  • Authoring and troubleshooting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
  • Analysing data and information flow between applications.
  • Maintaining services within the Microsoft Azure Application ecosystem.
  • Managing the deployment of Azure applications.
  • Staying updated with M365 stack development, new features, and relay new developments and their impact to IT management.
  • Developing, documenting, and implementing processes and automated workflows.
  • Providing advance support for Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Contributing to the departmental Knowledgebase.
  • Ensuring that the incidents are resolved within established SLAs.
  • Providing knowledge transfer to the IT Applications and Service Desk teams as application and services are implemented or changed.
  • Maintaining a well-documented known state within our Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Continually reviewing and identifying processes and configurations to ensure that they meet expectations.
  • Models and cultivates behaviours that achieve business success, including collaboration, accountability, and ownership.
  • Developing new ideas for improving organizational performance.
  • On-call support will be required to deal with emergency support, outages, and updates.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as they may be assigned.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

The successful candidate must have the following education, experience and / or demonstrated skills :

  • 8 years or more experience working in a Microsoft environment with 5 years or more experience implementing and administering the Microsoft 365 suite.
  • 5 years or more experience implementing and troubleshooting Microsoft Power Automate (Microsoft Flow) flows.
  • In depth experience with the setup, configuration, and deployment of applications using Azure services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Experience with the configuration and maintenance of Azure services.
  • Experience with process design, documentation, and improvement.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional, polished, and tactful manner, works well with others in a collaborative style.
  • Creation, modification, and maintenance of Azure websites.
  • Sound knowledge of data management and integration services.
  • SQL Server experience will be considered an asset.
  • High energy level, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, and relationship-building skills needed to form and maintain effective working relationships with people at all levels within the Firm.
  • Superior oral and written communications skills including effective listening skills and presentation skills.
  • Detail oriented and results driven with a demonstrated quality customer service record.
  • Superior critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize and deliver effectively and efficiently.
  • High level exposure to development methodologies and environments.
  • Knowledge and work experience within a legal environment will be an asset.
