Qualifications :
- You have a diploma or degree in journalism or in a related field.
- Youre a team player with 5 years of professional experience as an editor.
- Youre an organizational whiz with a need to manage assignments projects and deadlines with the latest tools.
- Your impressive project and timemanagement skills allow you to thrive in a fastpaced sometimes chaotic yet very creative environment.
- You can manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and shift gears quickly when needed thanks to your reliance on organizational tools.
- You have excellent news judgement an innate ability to identify topics for coverage exceptional writing and storytelling skills and think beyond traditional narratives to support journalists in producing compelling and relevant stories.
- You can convert data to action items that utilize resources effectively and efficiently.
- You get social media and know how to use different platforms to source and share information.
- You understand the importance of SEO and online best practices and use these to reach a wider audience.
- You craft a mean headline sure to catch the eye of readers.
- You are wellversed in Canadian libel law and have a strong grasp of Canadian Press style.
- You can work remotely.
