The position of Broker - Risk Management will work closely with their team and external partners in the construction industry to manage risks and ensure that customer needs are met through personalized, prompt and courteous service, and efficiently process requests.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and update renewal files for which he / she is responsible (insurance limits, coverage and underwriting information, etc.);
  • Strictly apply the company's receivables policy;
  • Ensure that customer needs are met through personalized, prompt and courteous service, and efficiently process requests;
  • Explain to customers the nature and cost of services offered, and provide information on claims concerning his / her file;
  • Respect renewal deadlines and give the best advice with the best solutions at the best possible conditions;
  • Actively participate in the marketing of accounts during renewals and obtain relevant information.
  • Collaborate with account managers to plan account placement strategy and review policy coverages and submit underwriting and missing coverages.
  • Participate in company training sessions to achieve the number of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) required by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF);
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation affecting its fields of activity;

Qualifications

  • AMF license (Commercial Lines Broker - Class 4C)
  • CIP preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or at least 5 years' relevant work experience.
  • Bilingualism
  • Customer service skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems
