The Role

Working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment, our developers design, code, and test customized IT solutions using emerging technologies, modern software delivery tools, frameworks, and deployment methodologies. In this client-facing consulting role, you will work as a Quartech representative, collaborating on various projects with cross-functional teams.

Location: Hybrid (based in Los Angeles)

Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Level: Intermediate

Salary: $125,000 – $135,000 annually

In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Developing software applications based on design specifications in accordance with applicable standards.
• Incrementally designing, developing, testing, debugging, and deploying IT products using modern software delivery tools, frameworks, and deployment methods.
• Implementing APIs and integrating services with existing applications.
• Creating and executing unit and integration tests and prioritizing defect fixes.
• Working collaboratively on an Agile development team across a range of projects using a structured development process.
• Participating in team reviews, including functional specification, technical design, and code review meetings.
• Effectively managing scope and client expectations on individual assignments.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• 6+ years of experience using multiple modern backend frameworks, languages, and tools (e.g., .NET / .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework).
• Strong knowledge and experience with modern frontend frameworks, languages, and tools (e.g., ASP.NET, Ionic Framework, Angular, JavaScript, CSS).
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Experience developing, testing, investigating, refactoring, and consuming custom RESTful APIs and web services.
• Exposure to application deployment automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and/or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with containers and container platforms such as OpenShift, as well as cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• A collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Java, WebSphere, configuration management, and Windows environments.
• ETL and/or Power BI experience is considered a nice to have.
