Job Summary

As Director, Influencer Strategy & Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that AdParlor's new creator and UGC creative offerings are best-in-class.

This role offers a valuable blend of managing client operations and supporting business growth.

This candidate will understand the perfect balance between strategic and creative thinking who approaches creator marketing with an entrepreneurial mindset.

This person is an expert in the influencer marketing space and understands how it plays a critical role in an advertiser's digital marketing mix.

This candidate will be responsible for leading and growing the account team who works with clients on the execution of campaigns, supports client retention and actively identifies opportunities to expand the client relationship, and can partner with key executive stakeholders and decision-makers.

This individual will have extensive experience developing frameworks, processes, strategies, and systems which the Account Management and Operations team can bring to life.

They are also experienced in cross-functional partnerships and can adapt quickly to the ever-changing agency landscape.

This role will report to the Head of Influencer Strategy and will be ideally based in the Toronto office. This will be a hybrid remote working position.

What You'll Do

  • Work in close collaboration with account leads and team members to design and deliver best-in-class influencer marketing campaigns across clients in various verticals
  • Build strategic social influencer strategies and cross-functional campaigns to align with clients goals and objectives
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams on the ideation and execution of proposals, RFP / RFI and pitches to support new business growth
  • Foster and maintain productive and influential client relationships and provide strong counsel to clients on best practices across the digital landscape
  • Identify solutions and work with teams and independently to drive client success and grow relationships
  • Serve as expert in both the flat rate and performance-based creator space, working alongside digital marketing, brand, and user-acquisition teams to achieve objectives
  • Cultivate a culture of growth, collaboration, and innovation across the team
  • Work closely with Sales on supporting business growth and targeting efforts
  • Manage financials, including budgets and billing, projections and staffing
  • Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers and Account Coordinators
  • Build out scalable processes and SOPs to ensure consistency across team members
  • Continue to innovative and evolve with the ever-evolving digital landscape to create a best-in-class offering
  • Support the creation of thought leadership content to support marketing initiatives
  • Actively track team progress and timelines through Asana
  • Ability to interpret data and turn that into valuable insights and optimization recommendations

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience driving and executing social media campaigns; with at least 5+ years driving influencer marketing campaigns specifically
  • 3+ years people leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of the full influencer marketing landscape - including content amplification and performance-based partnerships
  • Previous experience leveraging an end-to-end influencer marketing platform, such as CreatorIQ, to build scalable processes
  • Passion for client service and an ability to juggle multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to execute and measure multifaceted campaigns and day-to-day communications initiatives
  • Poise and calm under pressure and a desire to immerse yourself in a client's business to become a true partner

Salary Range : $150,000 - $180,000 - The salary range indicated represents the commensurate range for the skills and duties posted.

Actual base salaries will vary depending on different factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, expertise, specialized skillset and location.
